MONDAY THE 24TH OF JUNE
A proper nice summer day and lucky Shelbourne park is close to the sea so it wasn’t red hot just nice for trailing and the track was absolute perfect today the traffic was good going and coming back home we had another brood have 10 pups to Hawkfield Ozark today , we needed a few bits and pieces of supplies ,we we’re all fed up nice and early today as well. On the greyhound star British performance of the week we have one hound on this weeks list Swift Depot.
TUESDAY THE 25TH OF JUNE
The good weather continued yesterday we got a delivery from red mills dog food so it had to be packed away , we had another brood have pups we thought she was going to have problems but thankfully it all ended well she had her first pup at 4:30am and at 2pm she had two pups coming out together stuck in the birth canal thankfully Paige managed to get them both out and they both lived she had 8 big strong pups by 6 o’clock last night , I got all our waste away and did a tidy up.
WEDNESDAY THE 26TH OF JUNE
We need to go to the cash and carry and the supermarket for food for pups and we also have meat and tripe to collect . At the kennels we will finish the tidy up and the whole day will be took up preparing hounds for schooling .
THURSDAY THE 27TH OF JUNE
The brood that started having her pups on Tuesday morning at 4:30am had her last one yesterday ( Wednesday ) in the afternoon at 1:30pm and they all lived and they are big strong healthy pups in 40 years I have greyhounds I never had that before where it took so long to have them and they all lived. The main job today is trailing at Kilkenny.

FRIDAY THE 28TH OF JUNE
A nice morning and the main job today is preparing more hounds for schooling ,we have broods that are going to have pups so they will have to be watched and we also have broods in season so they will have to go to the stud keeper today , we will continue on the never ending job of tiding up as well and whatever happens we will have to do a swap around with pups and saplings.

SATURDAY THE 29TH OF JUNE
Another early start as we almost ran out of meat, chicken and tripe so we got up early to collect it all. As we do the journal at 2pm we are back home with the freezer stocked back up. I’ve never had meat as good. We have done a bit of work on the journal. We will make all the lists for the coming week and we have also had John O’Reilly here checking hounds that are schooling. The day has gone well.

SUNDAY THE 30TH OF JUNE:
Were doing Sundays journal on Saturday afternoon. We are going to start preparing more hounds for schooling, galloping and hunting. If the day goes well we will give the vans a wash. It looks like Newcastle United are going to get busy in the transfer window We had to sell Yankuba Minteh to Brighton for the PSR rules. We need food for pups from the supermarket and we tidy the website.
