MONDAY THE 16TH OF DECEMBER
The weather has been nice considering it was a winters day. Our breakfast cereal arrived this morning from the UK. We have been to collect fish and our load of paper bedding has been loaded on to the transporter and is now heading for Rosslare port as we don’t have a bail left as Holyhead port is closed and the haulage firm have told me the artic will be with us first thing on Wednesday morning. We are all tidied up and prepared for Christmas.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER YESTERDAY AT THE VALLEY SWIFT ZIG.
TUESDAY THE 17TH OF DECEMBER
A wet day and the whole day was took up by preparing hounds for schooling . We needed meat so it had to be collected . I delivered hounds that were sold staying in Ireland and i also have been to the vets .
WEDNESDAY THE 18TH OF DECEMBER
An overcast day and a very busy day . I have been to the vets with hounds to get their tonsils out . I also met Ross Myles with hounds that are sold going to the UK and he tells me that the ferries are all over the place . Our load of paper bedding will be here so it will have to be emptied . We are making boxes and beds doing in a tidy up and we need all our waste away and Newcastle united play Brentford in the quarter final tonight a big game .
THURSDAY THE 19TH OF DECEMBER
We are adding the open race runners to the journal as we get new of them
A big win for Newcastle united last night and the day has gone well all the hounds that were sold are now all delivered . We got the last delivery of dry meat this year . I have been to collect meat , chicken and tripe . We were fed up early for the main job of the day trialing in Kilkenny . We have a couple of days left that are busy and if all goes well I planned the Christmas out without any problems .
