MONDAY THE 31ST OF MARCH
The weather for the week has been good and it was 30 years today when I moved into Lughill kennels and I remember it like it was yesterday and I have just about seen it all with greyhounds and would I do it again definitely yes if I had my life again.
TUESDAY THE 1ST OF APRIL
We did maintenance work , prepared pups for schooling , there was meat to collect and also fish to collect and the day went well. We had hounds that were sold going to the UK with Ross Myles and I hardly recognised him as he lost 5 stone in weight and its a massive help Ross and Darren picking our hounds up from our yard Thanks lads.
WEDNESDAY THE 2ND OF APRIL
We did our weekly trip to the vets , we needed food for pups and we continued on worming , trimming nails and we are swapping pups around from concrete yards to rearing paddocks and taking hounds out of the rearing paddocks in to the garden paddocks . Newcastle united got another important win and Tonali was outstanding for us.
THURSDAY THE 3RD OF APRIL
A big day today as its my birthday and I am 68 years young today. I had to take the waste to the dump early and we have to be fed up early as the main job of the day is trialing in Kilkenny . I now haven’t had a drink for over 5 year so no party tonight . I will update the dog for sale page around 5 pm instead and watch a bit of greyhound racing tonight.
FRIDAY THE 4TH OF APRIL
The first job yesterday was to collect meet , tripe and chicken and we had a load of bits and pieces to collect in the way of supplies. At the kennels we did maintenance work and the whole day was took up worming hounds , trimming their nails , changing beds and putting small pups into the rearing paddock.

SATURDAY THE 5TH OF APRIL
The weather has been lovely the whole week . My first job was to collect a brood from Droopy’s stud . The 202 van is at the garage getting serviced and the timing belt is getting done as well. We had a delivery from Red mills of bag dog food , we did more worming of kennel dogs and the day has gone well.

AT MONMORE SWIFT PRANK. AT OXFORD CHARILE KNOWS AND BURROWS TRIGGER. AT PERRY BARR UNANIMOUS LEON , PHOENIX POSH , TIFFIELD TARQUIN AND WRIGHTY. AT YARMOUTH MR JAMES , SWIFT BANKRUPT , WRONG NOT WRIGHT , SWIFT YANK , SWIFT CARLO , NOVA BOOTS AND YOU TWO. AT CORK COLOUR MATCHER.
SUNDAY THE 6TH OF APRIL
Its will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will tidy the website and get caught up on paperwork.
