MONDAY THE 23RD OF DECEMBER
I forgot to put Wrighty at Romford and swift Depot at Yarmouth on the greyhound star British performance of the week for week starting Monday the 10th of December. Today has been a busy day I was on the road at 5am to collect meat again . We got the last of our waste to go to the landfill and after we get tomorrow over we will be completely tidied up . We have a few bits and pieces still to collect and thats us completely organised for the Christmas holiday and a big thanks for the customers who bought a greyhound as the sale department has been very busy. All of last weeks journal now done.
TUESDAY THE 24TH OF DECEMBER
The last job to do is the journal . I had meat , tripe and chicken to collect early this morning and do a bit of shopping for myself . At the kennels we continued on with a big tidy up and after the holidays we will do the gutters and a bit of maintenance work . We have a brood having pups all going well . We did a bit of preparation work for tomorrow and the weather was good today .
WEDNESDAY THE 25TH OF DECEMBER
A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL CUSTOMERS , ALL THE GREYHOUND INDUSTRY AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO BOUGHT A HOUND THIS YEAR
We are starting work as normal at 6am on Christmas morning we hope to be all fed and kennels done by 11am and then we just have to come back and let the hounds out from kennels to clean them selves after our Christmas dinner . Update Christmas afternoon the lady who had her pups all went well and mother and pups doing fantastic . The weather was good all day and more like a spring day than a Christmas day . I had a gorgeous dinner and is now a afternoon of rest .
THURSDAY THE 26TH OF DECEMBER
The plan for boxing day or Stephens day as its called in Ireland we will start as normal at 6am and have all hounds fed and kennels done before 11am . We are going to go for our lunch and come back to let hounds out that are in kennels . Its a full day of football in the UK so I will watch that along with a bit of greyhound racing . We are back to normal on Friday and if the weather is good the whole day will be took up by preparing hounds for schooling but we will update more on Friday morning.

FRIDAY THE 27TH OF DECEMBER
On Thursday swift Depot won the track championship at Yarmouth. The plans for Friday are get the waste away to the dump . We have a brood to go to Droopy’s stud . We had bits and pieces to collect from the vets and we also need muzzles . At the kennels we are going to prepare hounds for the whole day for schooling . Another great win by Newcastle yesterday.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT BULLSEYE IN THE PUPPY COMPETITION FINAL .UNANIMOUS LEON IN THE ALL ENGLAND CUP FINAL PLUS SWIFT JAFAR IN THE MARATHON RACE
SATURDAY THE 28TH OF DECEMBER
We have broods in season so they will have to go to Droopys stud. We never got the preparation work done yesterday to get hounds ready for schooling so were definitely going to do that today. We need a few bits and pieces and we also need carpets to make beds for mothers and pups. A brood had pups last night. Thankfully everything went well. We also have to go to the vets to get passports for hounds that are sold to get them ready for the UK. We got the first half of the holidays over well. The weather has been good. Hopefully it will last all day today.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRELAND WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT UNITED IN THE SPRINIT FINAL PLUS SWIFT GIDDY, AT HOVE BURROWS TIGGER IN THE DUAL DISTANCE FINAL AND BURROWS SWIFT .
SUNDAY 29TH DECEMBER:
Everything went well on Saturday. The weather was good and I got everything done on my to do list. Were going to start a major swap around. As we swap the hounds around were going to trim their nails and worm them. We will do all the paperwork. We have a job to do on the gallop and with a bit of luck we will get that done. If the day goes well we will get the vans washed.
