MONDAY THE 22ND OF JULY
A busy day we needed all our waste away to the dump , we also need fish which is a 9 hour round trip to Killybegs. At the kennels the whole day will be took up preparing hounds for schooling , we need all our lists made for the coming week and we have a load of supplies to order.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER YESTERDAY AT THE VALLEY DUBAI KID . ALSO TIFFIELD TARQUIN QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL OF THE JUVENILE CLASSIC AT TOWCESTER . TODAY WE HAVE THREE RUNNER AT SUFFOLK DOWNS SWIFT RALLY, SWIFT BANKRUPT AND SWIFT ALIEN.
TUESDAY THE 23RD OF JULY
The first job yesterday was to collect meat. At the kennels we continued on preparing hounds for schooling which took all day. We also got a delivery of bagged dog food from Time, Ross Myles collected dogs from the yard that are sold going to their new owners in the UK.
WEDNESDAY THE 24TH OF JULY
A busy morning and the rain is back again. We have been taking photographs of the saplings of the dog for sale page ready to add on to Greyhound Data on Saturday morning. I have been to the vets with a hound to get his tonsils out, we had broods to collect after being mated, we need food for pups and we will do a tidy up around the yard.
THURSDAY THE 25TH OF JULY
An overcast morning and the main job today is trialing in Kilkenny we need all our waste away and there is bits and pieces of supplies to collect and if the day goes well we will wash the vans.
FRIDAY THE 26TH OF JULY
A nice day and a busy day we have been preparing hounds for schooling from 7 o’clock once we got the small pups fed and we have been at it all day, we have giving my house a tidy and i also have been to red mills as we ran out of excel dog food and the next job is getting food for myself and swift vicki as she is a picky eater
Saturday 27th July:
It was a wet morning but as we do the journal at 12pm its cleared up. We needed meat so that had to be collected. We had John O’Reilly here checking hounds that are schooling. We needed our waste away. We have worming, nail cutting and injections to do for young pups.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE EIGHT RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HOVE: CLONA URIEL IN THE FINAL OF THE SUSSEX CUP . AT OXFORD: IN THE FINAL OF THE PALL MALL SWIFT UNKIND AND WRIGHTY. ALSO AT OXFORD: UNANIMOUS LEON AND YOU TWO. AT PERRY BARR SWIFT MAXWELL AND RANCHES REBEL.
Sunday 28th July:
It will be a typical Sunday where we do the paperwork, make all the lists for the coming week, collect food for pups from the supermarket. We will also tidy the website up
