A wet morning but I think it will dry up. The big tidy up continues we need supplies we are going to hunt pups and we are going to worm and cut the nails on young pups and saplings. We need passports for hounds that are sold thanks to everybody who bought them.
Wednesday 8th July:
Another overcast morning but I don’t think we will get rain. We have John Nolans coming to earmark pups and mark up dogs that are going to the UK. We are changing all the beds in the kennels we need supplies and also fish. We have to meet Ross Miles as we have dogs going to the UK. We need all of our waste away and we will continue doing a big tidy up.

No rain today, we have trialled in Newbridge and collect all the supplies we next have to go to the vets to get wormers. Newcastle United were men against boys last night and did well only to get beat 5/0 and everything is going well at the kennels.
Friday 10th July:
Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday morning as I was in the UK yesterday delivering hounds. I day tripped and the ferry was very busy. At the kennels we leveled out the sand runs and did the last of the worming and nail cutting.

Saturday 11th July:
It was a gorgeous morning when we started but it now looks like its going to rain. Our supplies arrived from the UK and had to be packed away. We now have to go to DSV haulage which as also arrived from the UK. All hounds that are schooling are getting checked this afternoon. All the main jobs have been left behind with all the supplies arriving so we will get caught up this afternoon. We have to take photos of the hounds on the dogs for sale page and put onto greyhound data. We have all the lists to make and a bit of work to do on the website this afternoon. Jack Charlton former Newcastle United and Ireland manager would bring his mother shopping to the little shop we had in Newcastle 30 years ago. Jacks grandmother was next door neighbour to my great grandmother in North Seaton and every Tuesday when he was managing Ireland he would fly back home to see his mother. A great family man, a world cup winner. RIP big Jack.
