Monday 29th November:
We are doing the journal at 7 o’clock in the evening the weather was bad this morning and it was cold. We got our waste away, we got the kennels cleaned early and we were fed up early as well . The main job of today was trialing at Shelbourne Park and we also added to Greyhound Data photos of our August 2020 saplings.
Tuesday 30th November:
A lot better morning and it was 10 degrees when we started today at 6am this morning. We need fish bits and pieces and I think all the supplies from the UK are on their way. We got the website all updated and the Vat will have to be done as we are a week behind.
Wednesday 1st December:
A dry day and been a busy one. We had Ross Myles to meet as he has hounds to take that are sold to the UK, we needed our waste away, we needed supplies and as we do the journal at 2pm we are getting the hounds checked by John O’Reilly that are schooling.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT SWIFT JAGUAR AT HARLOW.
Thursday 2nd December:
A cold morning but dry and no chance of rain. Our first load of supplies (paper) has arrived from UK and it’s already emptied from the truck and it’s already packed away by 10am. We have to catch up with the dogs but we have the cooking done so we have to clean the kennels and feed the dogs and with a bit luck we will get beds change in the rearing paddocks and that will be as much as we can do today.
Friday 3rd December:
We start with the sad news Swift Joan dropped dead which is the hard part of breeding dogs. Everything has to continue on. I had to go for fish and at the kennels we got the hounds that are schooling checked.
Saturday 4th December:
We start with the good news Newcastle won their first game of the season. I would love to think by the second of January were only three points behind the team fourth from bottom as we have hard games. At the kennels it was a cold morning and we started packing the fish away at 5:30am as I was back late last night. We have the place a massive tidy and we hunted a few pups.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT MASSIVE EGO AT MONMORE.
Sunday 5th December:
Its a very cold morning with quite a bit of frost. Padgie my head lad is off. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and keep dogs warm. We will finish the VAT and do all the paperwork, tidy the website and probably wash the vans. We need to prepare for another busy week ahead.
