MONDAY 28TH OF AUGUST
No bank holiday in Southern Ireland. The weathers been good but a bit cooler today. We are all fed up, kennels all cleaned at 12:30 as we do the journal and ready for Shelbourne park for trials and handslips which is the main job of the day, we have a brood going to the Dunphy stud.

TUESDAY 29TH OF AUGUST
A nice day and a busy day. We need passport work done at the vets, we have broods having pups, we have updated the dogs for sale page, we have to meet Ross Miles who is talking hounds to the UK that are sold, we need food for pups and a load of more jobs to do today

WEDNESDAY 30TH OF AUGUST
We are doing Wednesday journal on Thursday afternoon. We needed meat, all our waste away. We also did a swap round with pups , saplings and kennel dogs from the sheds were pups are born in to yards and from yards to rearing paddocks and from paddocks to kennels we also wormed them as we did the swap.
THURSDAY 31ST OF AUGUST
A mixed day of weather, we been to the cash and carry also collected food for pup from the supermarket, been to the ford garage for services kits for the vans and the hardware for wood to put new floors in the travelling cages, we continue the swap around with pups and saplings and also wormed them.

FRIDAY 1ST OF SEPTEMBER
Were doing Fridays journal on Sunday morning. I day tripped to Killybegs for fish. I was back late but fair play to Padgie and the lads as they came back in to pack it away. We did the last of the work on the travelling cages. We also got the worming all finished and prepared hounds for schooling.

SATURDAY 2ND OF SEPTEMBER
I day tripped to the UK for cereal yesterday. The roads were very busy in Wales on Saturday morning but the trip went well. At the kennels we got all the hounds checked that are schooling and we also galloped and hunted pups. Newcastle United were terrible against Brighton.

SUNDAY 3RD OF SEPTEMBER
A typical Sunday where we do all the paperwork, tidy the website, do bits and pieces around the yard, empty the cereal from the van and plan for a busy week. We also have visitors coming.
