Monday 24th February:
Another wet and windy day, the main job of the day is trialing dogs that are sold in Shelbourne park plus one of my own hounds and with the weather we can only cook, clean, feed and let hounds out that are in kennels and lucky the rearing paddocks are on the side of the hill as with the weather they would be running around up to the neck in water on flat ground.
We have updated Sundays and Saturdays journal of last week today.
ON THE OPEN SCENE RACE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK NORMANSLAND FLYER. TONIGHT WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS AT NOTHINGHAM HAGGSWOOD RIVER, SWIFT CONUNDRUM, SWIFT CONQUEST, SWIFT FERDIA AND ARTHURS BISCUIT.
Tuesday 25th February:
A nice morning and dry for a change, we have supplies to collect, all our waste to go to the dump, paper work to do. I have 10 pallets of pasta in the UK so I have to get transport to get them back, we will do a tidy up and change beds.
WEDNESDAY 26TH FEBRUARY
It’s a bright dry morning but very cold, we had to meet Ross Miles with hounds that are going to the UK, we have done another trip to the dump, we have got hounds to gallop, vans to wash and tidy. We are up to date with paper work not like us and we have busy weekend ahead of us.

THURSDAY 27TH FEBRUARY
A dry cold bright morning and the start of the busy weekend. We have Red Mills coming so its has to be packed away, we need loads of supplies so they have to be collected, the garages has to be tidy up. we need passports for hounds that are sold going to the UK and Europe and I have to take an hour out of the day as I need lot of stuff for myself.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT HOVE TONIGHT COLLSWOOD HARK,SWIFT BULLET AND CYNTHIAS GIFT .
FRIDAY 28TH FEBRUARY
It’s going to be a wet day, the Red Mills is not coming till today and our pasta is not here till tomorrow or Monday. We need bits and pieces, all our waste away and at the kennels we are changing beds, swapping pups, saplings and kennel dogs around.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS TONIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFT BISCUIT, SWIFT SABBATH, SWIFT TARQUIN AND BRITANNIA WILL.
Saturday 29th February:
Its a cold bright and dry morning. There is another storm forecasted. A big day for Newcastle United with a game against Burnley. At the kennels were going to change every bad in every kennel. We will gallop a few hounds and prepare for the storm. We also have supplies to collect.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT ROMFORD SWIFT SABBATH AND SWIFT TARQUIN. TONIGHT WE HAVE 8 RUNNERS. AT MONMORE MORPETH LAD, BEDLINGTON BOY, SWIFT LETTUCE AND FANTASTICAL. AT CRAYFORD GRAVELTRAP LEON. AT SHEFFIELD GRUMPY TINKER, CONEY BOOM BOOM AND CONEY KRAKATOE.
SUNDAY 1ST MARCH
It was another very wet day and we had another storm over night. There is water everywhere around my place lucky we are on hill side. We worm all the brood bitches and did a tidy up after the storm and all we could do was feed, clean kennels, cook and make sure all the hounds and paddocks were ok. Newcastle United got a point played better but still did not score we need at least one win and three draws to be in a premier league next season.
