Tuesday 24th August:
The good weather is here and it’s not to hot with no wind. We need supplies today a trip to the vets, we will probably hunt and gallop do all the paper work. I need a service kit for the 151 van and I must go to the shops to get food for my self, we are going to have hounds checked that are schooling and there is loads of little jobs to do. Newcastle United has getting off to a bad start and it is definitely going to be a long season for us. All the young pups are doing well and it’s nearly a full time job cutting nails on them and worming them, we need the grass cut in the rearing paddocks and we will have to start bed changing everywhere along with hedge cutting

Saturday 28th August:
Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning. I’m definitely getting back to normal and I went for fish on Friday afternoon. I probably over did it but the good news is the bypass before Sligo, before Killybegs and the roadworks after Edgeworthstown are all finished. I couldnt believe it I went up in 3 hrs and 15 mins and came back in 3hrs and 30 mins. It used to be a 9 hour round trip. When I got back the freezer wasnt working but thankfully we got that fixed on Saturday morning. No harm or no damage done. Were fully stocked and we have wormed every pup in the place.
