Monday 20th June:
It’s a nice day and no chance of rain the main job today is schooling at Shelbourne Park we are taking 24 hounds and we will update the website either tonight or early in the morning. We need all our waste away and we also need bits and pieces of supplies and we have bits and pieces of paper work to finish up as well.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT NOTINGHAM CHURCHILL BLAZE
Tuesday 21th June:
A overcast day and I don’t think we will get rain. We need supplies, we have Red Mills coming so that has to be packed away, we have broods ready to have pups which I thought they will have pups last night, we got all our paper work finished and everything is going well.
Wednesday 22th June:
A nice day and I don’t think we will get rain. I have been to the vet with Swift Stetson to get his tonsils out and everything is going well. We have dogs that are sold going to UK tonight with Ross Myles and at the kennels we are worming pups and hounds and last night the first of our mothers had her pups everything went well and mother and pups are doing fantastic.
Thursday 23rd June:
Another nice day and we are doing a massive swap around with hounds, pups, mother and pups and saplings which will take all day. Our four hounds that are sold that left with Ross Myles last night are now delivered to the UK and everything is going well.
Friday 24th June:
Were doing Fridays journal on Sunday morning. We got all the hounds that are schooling checked and I also took a hound to get his tonsils out. We had broods who were due to pup and we continued on doing a swap around of mothers, pups and saplings. We started worming, cutting nails and checking every hound for paracites.
Saturday 25th June:
Were doing Saturdays journal on Sunday morning. The weather has been wet for the last few days but we continued on with the worming, nail cutting which we finished Saturday evening.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE RUNNER AT TOWCESTER NORMANSLAND FLYER WHICH I BELIEVE WAS HIS LAST RACE.
Sunday 26th June:
We have has heavy rain overnight but as we do the journal at 7:30am its dry with a blue sky. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean and feed. We have paperwork to do, lists to make for schooling and a whole lot of bits and pieces. I also need to plan for a busy week. Two hounds heading for the open race scene who won last night Swift Love and Swift Buttons. Both trained by Paul Whitwood. I believe he only has the two hounds. Swift Buttons won in 27.73 and Swift Love won in 28.05 both at Yarmouth.
