Monday 20th July:
A nice day and the main job of today is trialling in Shelbourne Park. We have Red Mills coming so we will have to packet away. We have a brood in season so I have to pick a sire we have a heap of letters to post. The big tidy up and hedge cutting and the work on the gallop is just about finish.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT LOKI
Tuesday 21th July:
A nice day, we need supplies we need all our waste away and the very last little bit of work to do on the gallop, sand runs and hedges will get done today. Newcastle United played terrible but still got a point.
Wednesday 22th July:
We had heavy rain over night and it looks like it will rain again. There is a day of work left to do on the gallop, runs and hedges I thought we would finish all the work yesterday but it’s a bigger job than I thought. Today we need cooked bones a trip to the vets and a small tidy up. We have pups to inject and we have to plan a busy weekend out.
Thursday 23th July:
We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning I day trip England on Thursday as Ross Miles Greyhound transporter broke down and I had to deliver the hounds that we had sold as we didn’t have kennels. At the kennels it rain all day so we still haven’t got the gallop, sand runs, hedge cutting and the big tidy up finish.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD FOUR RUNNERS LAST NIGHT AT NEWCASTLE TRANWEL STALLION, SWIFT ZIGZAG, SWIFT GUARD, GEELO CONEY.
Friday 24th July:
The rain has stopped and I didn’t get back from England till 7am this morning as I was stuck in traffic on the M60 as there was a accident. We have supplies coming we need all our waste away food for small pups from supermarket and a hole lot of bits and pieces.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS TRANWEL STALLION AND GEELO CONEY AT NEWCASTLE. TONIGHT WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS AT ROMFORD SWIFT LETTUCE, SWIFT TARQUIN, SWIFT SABBATH.
Saturday 25th July:
Its a mild morning. We are getting the grass cut in the rearing paddocks. We have pups to get their first and second injections. Were going to add our August 2019 pups to the website. We have maintenance work to do. Were going to wash the vans inside and out.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT DRAHBEG DASH AND CYNTHIES GIFT AT HOVE.
Sunday 26th July:
Its an overcast morning and it looks like were going to get rain. Were getting caught up with all paperwork. Were going to give the garages a tidy and the freezer. Its the last day of the Premiership. Thankfully Newcastle United is safe as we couldnt be finishing with a harder game Liverpool. We still didnt get the last bit of work done with the hedge cutting, gallop and sand runs but we got the grass paddocks cut in the field and all the mess tidied up.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE WINNER DRAHBEG DASH WON HIS SEMI FINAL OF THE OLYMPIC AT HOVE. TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS: NORMANSLAND FLYER AND SWIFT LOKI AT CENTRAL PARK.
