Monday 1st August:
We are doing Monday journal on Tuesday morning as yesterday was a bank holiday in Southern Ireland. It was more or less like a typical Sunday were we cooked, fed, clean kennels and also let hounds out that are in kennels. On the Greyhound Star British Performance of the week we have one hound on this week list Swift Love at Yarmouth.
Tuesday 2nd August:
A wet morning but I think it’s going to dry up I have already got all our waste away and at 9 am we have half the dogs fed the main job of today is trialing and handsliping in Shelbourne Park get the food for pups from the supermarket, doing the vat. We had no open racer winners last night and we had a load of graded winners yesterday the best of them been Swift Mellow winning A1 at Yarmouth in 27.81 F.T.O.N
Wednesday 3rd August:
A overcast day and we already have had a little bit of rain, we have a load of young pups and it’s nearly a day job for one person feeding them as they have to be fed five times a day all is going well with them. We need a load of supplies as normal and we also have pups to inject, we have updated our website with all trials and handslips, we have a load of dogs to name from our July and August litters (2021)

Thursday 4th August:
A nice day and a busy one we have been to the vets, we need all our waste away. At the kennels John O’Reilly is coming to check all the hounds that are schooling, we are doing maintenance work on the gallop and cutting hedges.
Friday 5th August:
Another nice day. We have meat to collect. We done the last of the maintenance work and brought the rubbish to the dump. We had a delivery arrive from Red Mills which had to be packed away.

Saturday 6th August:
Another busy day. We have fish to collect in Donegal, we need a trip to the cash and carry to collect supplies. Back at the farm we are doing a massive swap around.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT: SWIFT QUINCEY AT MONMORE. LAST WEEK WAS ANOTHER GOOD WEEK FOR WINNERS AT YARMOUTH AND SWIFT LOVES WON IN FASTEST TIME OF THE WEEK.
Sunday 7th August:
A great day weather wise. We have a mountain of paperwork to do, dogs to name, the website to tidy up. Other that that we will do the everyday jobs of cooking, cleaning, feeding and letting hounds out of kennels.
