MONDAY THE 16TH OF OCTOBER
It’s been another cold dry day and the day has gone well I was at the vets early this morning getting passport work done ready for hounds to travel to the Uk to their new trainers and owners like all Mondays now we had to be fed up early and kennels done early we left for Shelbourne at 12 o’clock and I couldn’t believe it we were there for 10 past 1 and there was nobody there we were finished for 3 back home early and at 5.30 we have all hounds let out and kenneled up for the night and website done and the day is over.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAD 2 RUNNERS TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM DUABI KID AND CONEY REVELUTION
TUESDAY THE 17TH OF OCTOBER
A busy day that has went well we needed meat we had hounds that are sold leave with Ross Miles for the Uk going to their new owners. We got all the paperwork sent and we needed loads of bits and pieces from hardware suppliers, and we also had to get Tyres on the 191 van at the kennels we had visitors bagged dog food arrived, so it had to be packed away and we did a swap around with hounds from runs to kennels and from puppy yards to paddocks.

Wednesday 18th October:
Were doing Wednesday journal on Sunday morning as its been a busy week. The first job of the day was to collect meat which is still very short in Southern Ireland but getting plentyfull. All our hounds that were sold were delivered by Ross Myles. At the kennels we were injecting pups, doing a swap around with hounds and did a tidy up.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO WINNERS LAST NIGHT AT SHEFFIELD: SWIFT ICONIC WON THE GROUP ONE FINAL STEEL CITY CUP. ALSO AT SHEFFIELD MERLINS MATE.
Thursday 19th October:
The heavy rain arrived and it didn’t stop until Saturday morning. Luckily we’re on a hillside and we have good drainage but everywhere around us is flooded. We were limited with the work we could do on Thursday owing to the weather. We changed beds, did maintenance work, continued on inoculating and worming pups. I delivered a hound that was sold to Northern Ireland and the day went well.

Friday 20th October:
I more or less took the day off on Friday. I sorted out some paperwork and I went to Red Mills in Goresbridge. There was no outside work owing to the rain. We tidied garages, changed more beds and everybody was pleased when the day was finished.
Saturday 21st October:
Thankfully the wet weather was over and it was a cold and dry day yesterday. I went for meat which is getting more plentiful thank goodness and I also got our waste away. At the kennels we hunted pups and did the everyday jobs of cooking, cleaning and feeding. Newcastle United were fantastic against Crystal Palace. The day went well.

Sunday 22nd October:
A typical Sunday where we tidy the website, do all the paperwork, all the lists and prepare for a busy week. We have visitors coming. With a bit of luck we will wash the vans as it looks like it’ll be a dry day.
