Saturday 21st November:
Its 26 years since I came to Ireland and it seems like only yesterday. It was the following April before I moved into Lughill Kennels and I’m fairly sure I’ve seen everything with greyhounds. No doubt there will be something else come that I havent seen before. It looks like ts going to be a wet day but with a bit of luck we will gallop hounds. We need a load of supplies. Newcastle United have a tough game against Chelsea today.
Sunday 22nd November:
Its a cold morning with frost. Padgie is off today as its his wife’s birthday. At the kennels it will be a typical Sunday where we try to keep dogs warm, cook, clean kennels, feed and let fogs out of kennels. We will wash the vans as they’re filthy. Newcastle United were completely outclassed by Chelsea yesterday. The way the Premiership is going you could stay up with 25-30 points and our games from now to Christmas are the easiest of the season so by the turn of the year lets hope we have around 20 points. We have another busy week ahead of us at the kennels so I will plan it all out.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT SWINDON: FANTASTICAL. AT CENTRAL PARK: SWIFT LETTUCE AND MASSIVE EGO.
