Monday 15th February:
The weather is a lot better today dry and 12 degrees. We are going to do maintenance work, hunt pups and trial in Shelbourne Park before we leave for Shelbourne there is paper work to finish off and photos of hounds to do. Newcastle United play tonight they want a miracle and I have also to go for Covid test as I have been to the UK but I know for a fact I haven’t got it.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS SHESELLSSEASHELLS, PAPAPAPAPOPS AND CHURCHILL HOLLY.
Tuesday 16th February:
It’s dry and it’s 12 degrees we could get showers, it’s been a busy start to the day we had supplies arrive from the UK and we also had Ross Myles collecting hounds that are sold going to the UK. We have more supplies to collect beds to change and we will try to hunt a few pups. Newcastle United were very poor last night and it’s nearly one year since I had a drink and if I keep watching Newcastle on the TV I will drinking full time. I got my hair cut last night by Padgies wife and I can not believe how well it turned out.

Wednesday 17th February:
A lovely morning bright and dry and it is 12 degrees. The plans for today is to collect supplies get all our waste away, collect broods that have being mated do a massive swap, hunt pups, maintenance work so very busy day. I was looking at the Greyhound Star and I see we have two hounds on British Performance of the week Swift Cope at Romford last Friday and Swift Addition at Yarmouth also for no reason as hadn’t been to the doctors I have to go for the Covid test yesterday as HSE where texting me and the good news is I got have text confirming Covid not detected which I knew already.
Thursday 18th February:
We are doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning as I day trip to UK to get supplies at the kennels we kept on changing beds got all the hounds checked that are schooling did a tidy up plus continue on with maintenance work and galloped and hunted a few hounds.
Friday 19th February:
A dry morning but it looks like we will get rain. The maintenance work will continue today. We need supplies a tidy up and a day for hunting pups. The sales department has been busy thanks to everybody who bought a hound.

Saturday 20th February:
Its a nice and mild morning but I think we will get rain. The plans for today are to hunt pups, collect food for pups, get rid of all our waste and meet Ross Myles tonight as we have more hounds that are sold going to the UK. We will do a tidy up and prepare for a busy week ahead.

Sunday 21st February:
Spring has arrived as its a beautiful morning with the sun shining. My head lad Padgie’s child is sick but like all top men he still came to work. Were going to tidy the garage up and hunt pups. The dogs that were sold and left with Ross Myles last night have been delivered in the UK. We will have to monitor all our brood bitches as with the change in weather they will all be breaking into season. Newcastle United play Man Utd tonight so another miracle is needed. Relegation is now out of their hands as Fulham won last night. Fulham are three points behind us with better goal difference and the last game of the season were playing Fulham away. I bought a 2015 Transit van which looked and drove like a brand new van when I bought it. Every week since I’ve had it I have been putting money into it. We loaded it last night and it wouldnt start this morning so the boys had to pust it to get it started. Not an easy task with me in the front and a load in the back!
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER YESTERDAY NORMANSLANDS FLYER IN THE CHIEF RAMSBOTTOM HURDLE FINAL AT CRAYFORD. TONIGHT WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT SWINDON SWIFT SUNSET.
