MONDAY THE 20TH OF MARCH
The day has gone well and I went for meat first thing today timed the lads feed all the hounds we also got a delivery from red mills, and we only took 12 hounds to Shelbourne because all the electric was going off in Shelbourne Park at 3 o’clock so trails had to finish early the traffic was good and the days is now over at 6pm. On this week’s greyhound star British performance of the week we have one hound on this week’s list Bluey boy at Doncaster.
TUESDAY 21ST OF MARCH
A wet day, we went to the dump with all the wasted, Wash the vans did a major tidy up, cleaned my house. Wormed all the young pups and cut their nails.
WEDNESDAY THE 22ND OF MARCH
It’s been a mix day of weather and the day has gone well. At the kennels most of the day was took up with preparing hounds for schooling. We also got a whole heap of loose ends tidied up. We took the vat to the accountant’s, got parts for the 191 van, food for pups, all the letters posted off and every piece of paperwork tidied up. Plus got all the garages tidied up as well.
THURSDAY THE 23RD OF MARCH
We are doing Thursdays journal on Saturday morning, we needed a trip to the vets to get supplies and to get the last of the passport done so hounds that are sold can travel to the UK. At the kennels it was another day for preparing dogs for schooling and getting hounds checked by John O’Reilly.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAVE ONE RUNNER AT NEWCASTLE IN THE SEMI FINAL OF THE NORTHEREN FLAT SWIFT SILLY.
FRIDAY THE 24TH OF MARCH
I had to day trip England for paper bedding and I as I do Fridays journal at 8.30 am on Saturday morning I’m just back. At the kennels it was a wet day, we got our first delivery of Time dog food, we had a brood having pups and everything went well.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK, WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT SILLY. WE HAVE SEVEN RUNNERS AT OXFORD WE HAVE SWIFT QUAD, SWIFT QUINCEY, WOTA SWELL PARTY, SWIFT TANIA AND SLIDER MCCOY AND AT ROMFORD WE HAVE SWIFT ACCQUIT AND SUPA NOVA.
SATURDAY 25TH OF MARCH
A lovely morning and summer is on its way, we are changing all the beds in all of the kennels, we need all our waste away, we need meat, maintenance work to do, I have a friend coming from England to stay for few days, so I have to get house tidy properly.

Sunday 26th March:
It’s a nice dry morning and we have plenty to do for a Sunday. We have hounds that are sold going to their new owners, we have the trace system to update, dogs to add on to the dogs for sale page and a lot more bits and pieces to tidy up. I need shopping for myself. We have visitors coming. We will also tidy the vans.
