Monday 5th October:
We had rain over night and all day yesterday. The main job today is handsliping in Shelbourne Park. At the kennels there is very little we can do other than tidy the mess up and once it dry up we will start changing beds in the field and garden paddocks.
Tuesday 6th October:
The rain has stopped and it looks like a dry day. We have all our waste to go away, we need food for pups, we will do more homework with saplings ready for schooling. We need trip to the chemist, post office and the bank and we also have chicken coming.
Wednesday 7th October:
Its a Nice morning and so far being a busy one, we did the last of the homework with the last batch of August 2019 saplings ready for Shelbourne Park this Monday coming I will definitely have between 20 and 24 saplings for handslips several will be getting their second handslip and around 18 will be getting their first more details on the schooling news at the weekend. As normal there is bits and pieces to collect from shops, hardware and the vets.
Thursday 8th October:
It’s a overcast morning and it looks like rain, John Nolans is coming to earmark pups and we have a hound to collect from vets after a operation everything went well. We have young pups to get their second injection and that will be as much as we can do today.
Friday 9th October:
It’s a nice morning for October we are doing a big swap with pups, saplings and kennel dogs from runs to kennels and small pups from the rearing sheds in to the rearing paddocks. We have a brood having pups, we need supplies, food for pups and all the waste away.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS COLLSWOOD HAWK, SWIFT ADDITION, BRITANNIA WILL AT ROMFORD.
Saturday 10th October:
Its a nice morning so far for October. We had supplies that came from England which were all packed away by 9am. Its definitely going to be a busy day. We have all the beds to change, beds to make for mothers and pups, more supplies are coming and possibly get all the dogs checked that are schooling. We have paperwork to do and a load of small jobs.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT. IN THE ENGLISH DERBY: CHURCHILL HOLLY, SWIFT LETTUCE AND SWIFT COPE. AT CRAYFORD: NORMANSLAND FLYER AND GRAVELTRAP LEON.
Sunday 11th October:
Its a dry and cold morning. It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and lets dogs out of kennels. Hopefully we will get a couple of extra jobs done. Its seven month since I last had a drink. I’ve got to be at the hospital to be checked for Corona Virus as Im back in for scans and tests later on in the week.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK SWIFT LETTUCE AND CHURCHILL HOLLY QUALIFIED FOR THE LAST 24 OF THE ENGLISH DERBY. WE HAD ONE WINNER AT CRAYFORD NORMANSLAND FLYER. ALSO GRAVELTRAP LEON QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL OF THE HURDLE RACE SO ANOTHER EXCITING WEEK. TONIGHT WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS. AT HENLOW IN THE MAIDEN DERBY: FERBHILL ROXY. AT CENTRAL PARK: PIPAPAPOPS, FANTASTICAL AND MEGAPOPS.
