MONDAY THE 30TH OF DECEMBER
We are doing Mondays journal on new years day as its been a very busy week . I had hounds to deliver that were sold so we could free up kennels . We had a load of supplies to collect and parts for the vans . At the kennels the whole day was took up by preparing hounds for schooling , We also got our waste away to the dump with it being a short week.
TUESDAY THE 31TH OF DECEMBER
Another fantastic win for Newcastle united and Man united were very poor . At the kennels we started a major swapping around of kennel dogs , saplings from the rearing paddocks to the sand runs in the garden and splitting up litters into the large rearing paddocks . There was chicken , meat and tripe to collect.
WEDNESDAY THE 1ST OF JANUARY 2025
A happy new year and a lucky new year to the whole of the greyhound industry
At the kennels we started as normal at 6am , We had all the cooking done , all kennels cleaned and all hounds fed by 10:30 am we will come back in the afternoon and early evening to let all hounds out that are in kennels .
THURSDAY THE 2ND OF JANUARY
AS WE GET THE OPEN RACE RUNNERS WE WILL ADD THEM TO THE WEEKLY JOURNAL
The plans for Thursday are trialing in Kilkenny with 24 hounds , we have meat to collect early so i will be on the road at 5am . We have the paperwork to post off and we will have to have kennels done and all hound fed early
FRIDAY THE 3RD OF JANUARY
The plans for Friday the first job is to collect fish and we also need a pallet of red mills racer till our order comes next week . The forecast is for a heavy forest but dry so we will continue on with the swapping around with the kennel dogs , saplings and pups and we will worm them , trim their nails as we do the swap.

SATURDAY THE 4TH OF JANUARY
Newcastle came from behind to win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday; Alexander Isak on target for a seventh successive Premier League game as his in-form side made it six league and cup wins in a row.We collected more meat as all of our supplier have us on rationing. We also collected chicken and tripe. The broods were collected from Droopys Stud after their mating. The hounds that got their tonsils out also had to be collected. We had John O’Reilly here checking all the hounds that are schooling. We tidied the garage up. We have also tidied up the website.

SUNDAY THE 5TH OF JANUARY
It will be a typical Sunday where we do the paperwork, make all the lists for the coming week, collect food for pups from the supermarket. We will also tidy the website up Cold and blustery today with outbreaks of sleet and snow, along with heavy rain
