MONDAY THE 7TH OF OCTOBER
The first job today is to collect fish from our new supplier in Northern Ireland and the sat nav takes me to Carlingford Lough so I have to take a ferry a cross the lough. At the kennels we got load of supplies arrive and we will finally got the swapping around done with saplings, kennel dogs and young pups and we also had a brood have her pups.

TUESDAY THE 8TH OF OCTOBER
A busy day we have our weekly trips to the vets to do first, we need food for pups from the supermarket , we had our 202 van serviced and we had a little bit of work done to the 191 van so both running perfect again and at the kennels the whole day will be took up preparing hounds for schooling plus the everyday jobs of cooking , feeding , cleaning kennels and doing the waters

WEDNESDAY THE 9TH OF OCTOBER
A nice day and the first job of today was to collect meat , tripe and chicken from Northern Ireland . We got the photographs took of our July 2023 saplings all going well we will update them onto greyhound data on Saturday morning and some of them are absolute stunners i hope and i think our water leaking problem is sorted after digging up half the place getting Irish leaks detection out paying a fortune the problem was at the meter.
THURSDAY THE 10TH OF OCTOBER
A nice day but cold the first job was getting all the waste away as normal on a Thursday we had to be feed up early and kennels done early for the main job of today trialing in Kilkenny I also had to go to Cashel to get passports updated as Ross Myles greyhound transporter is heading out on Saturday for Sunday delivery in the UK .

FRIDAY THE 11TH OF OCTOBER
We got up to the first frost of the Autumn. The first job of the day was to collect meat which is short as ever but we are getting plenty to keep us going. We were worming pups and trimming nails and putting a few litters into the rearing paddocks for the first time. A brood had pups. Mother and pups are doing fantastic.

SATURDAY 12TH OCTOBER:
Another cold morning but no frost. The first job was to collect meat. At the kennels we have had hounds that are schooling checked by John O’Reilly and everything is good. We have added the photos of our July 2023 saplings to greyhound data. We did a small swap around with pups and saplings. We have food for pups to collect from the supermarket. We have had hounds that are sold leave for the UK. Its been a cold dry day. We changed all the beds in all the kennels.

SUNDAY 13TH OCTOBER:
Were doing Sundays journal on Saturday afternoon. My head lad Padgie has the weekend off so it will be like all Sundays where we do the paperwork, tidy the website, cook, clean and feed. Do the lists for another busy week. With a bit of luck we will wash the vans.
