MONDAY THE 1ST OF MAY:
The bank holiday Monday went well and it was more like a Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out that are in kennels. The weather was good and the day went well. On the this weeks greyhound star British performance of this week we have one hound on the list Supa Nova at Romford. We also had a very special winner in Enniscorthy last night Dubai kid previous name Swift Fergal winning in 28.55 only his second race winning them both.
ON THE OPEN RACE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER ON SUNDAY NIGHT WRIGHTY IN THE SEMI FINAL OF CATEGORY ONE COMPETITION THE GYMCRACK AT KINSLEY
TUESDAY THE 2ND OF MAY:
A nice day and the day has gone well we needed meat, we’ve been to Shelbourne for trials we did a small swap around in our rearing paddocks with hounds. We had to go to the vets to get passport work done.
Wednesday 3rd May:
Were doing Wednesdays journal on Sunday. The whole of Ireland is plagued with sickness and chest infections and it hasn’t spared me. I’ve spent half the week in bed. As we do the journal on Sunday morning I’m definitely on the mend. I had to meet Michael Flynn with hounds that are sold going to the UK. We also needed all our waste away. We needed food for pups and the day went well.
Thursday 4th May:
Were doing Thursdays journal on Sunday. Thursday was a wet miserable day but we changed beds everywhere and did a swap around with mothers and pups. We also had a trip to the vets and prepared more hounds for schooling.
Friday 5th May:
We needed meat. At the kennels we prepared more dogs for schooling which took all day. We also made boxes and beds for mothers and pups and we did a tidy up.

Saturday 6th May:
Saturday was a busy day. We needed a service kit for the 2019 van, we needed disinfectant and bleach from the cash and carry. We prepared more hounds for schooling, washed the vans and I got shopping for myself.

Sunday 7th May:
Its a typical Sunday where we do paperwork, tidy up the website and prepare for a busy week. Whatever happens I’ll be watching Newcastle United today. If we beat Brighton at home when we play them we need another four points from our other four games to be in the Champions League next year. Were 1/12 with the bookies to qualify so lets hope we get our first 3 points today. I’ll also watch the Gymcrack Final at Kinsley tonight. Whatever happens I’ll have to get the house tidied as I have company arriving tomorrow.
