Week starting on 8-Jul-2018

Saturday 14th July:
Its been a hectic morning but all went well. We finally got our June and July 2017 saplings added to the dogs for sale page. We took all our waste away, the endless job of collecting supplies continued and we have been spraying pups for paracites.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT TOWCESTER: OH ARMANI.

Friday 13th July:
Were getting the first sign of rain. Its cool and overcast. Another hectic day. Were going to do the last bit of swapping dogs around, spray pups for fleas and the endless job of collecting supplies continues. For one reason or another I havent been to bed since Tuesday. We have to go to the ICC to get the dogs named. If everything goes according to plan we will put them on the dogs for sale page tomorrow along with the photographs.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT.
AT ROMFORD: SWIFT NIKOLAJ, SWIFT TARQUIN, OH NONONO, REARGUARD GIZMO AND SWIFT DIXON.

Thursday 12th July:
Its an overcast morning for a change and much cooler than it has been. We will gallop and hunt a few dogs. We will give my house a massive tidy, get the VAT done and all the other paperwork up to date. We have waste straw to take to the processing plant and rubbish to take to the dump. As always we have supplies to collect such as veg, food for pups. We are going to name our June and July 2017 pups and if all goes well we will have the on the website this evening.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT AT HOVE:
SWIFT GANGSTER, SWIFT DANIELLE AND SWIFT GREAVES.

Wednesday 11th July:
The weather is still red hot but its a touch cooler this morning. The main job today is getting dogs that are sold to Ross Miles who is delivering them to the UK. We then have to go for trials at Kilkenny. We still didnt get the VAT done and we still havent got the next batch of dogs put on to the dogs for sale page. The plan is for Conor to do the VAT this afternoon, name the dogs tomorrow and take the paperwork to Clonmel to get it all cleared. We will put the dogs on the website before the weekend whatever happens. Kamil is away for fish. We have the evryday jobs to do and that will be as much as we can do today.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT CRAYFORD: SWIFT ASBOLOS.
TONIGHT WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS ALL AT SUNDERLAND:
BRAMBLE RAFA, SWIFT REACTION, SWIFT HANSEL, AZZURRI GENESIS AND SWIFT MAGPIE.

Tuesday 10th July:
Another glorious day weather wise and another day where we cant gallop or hunt. All we can do is feed, let out and get dogs back in before the sun gets them. We got up to date with the maintenance work. We still didnt get the VAT done which has to be done today. As normal there is all the running around to do such as bitches for testing at Michael Dunnes, part for the van to collect, food for pups.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE SEVEN RUNNERS TONIGHT.
AT CRAYFORD: SWIFT ASBOLOS, SWIFT SARGE, SWIFT SAVANNA AND SWIFT NADIA.
AT SHEFFIELD: CONEY SABELLA, CAPPOQUIN JACK AND SWIFT ASPEN.

Monday 9th July:
The glorious weather continues. Bramble Alicja had her pups after having a c-section. Mother and pups are doing fantastic. A typical Monday with all our waste to take away. The endless job of collecting supplies continues. If all goes well we will get supplies from the cash and carry and get the VAT done. We can neither hunt or gallop as the ground is like concrete. There is bits and pieces of maintenance work to do. We also need a couple of parts for the vans. We have the last bit of swapping around of hounds and pups to do.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT.
AT NOTTINGHAM: HAGGSWOOD RIVER AND SWIFT MEDIC.

Sunday 8th July:
Another glourious morning. There is harly a blade of grass left anywhere in Ireland. The corn has all come ripe early and some of it is only 6 inches high and 6 weeks early. England are in the semi-final of the world cup. Another brood had pups last night which went well. We have the final bit of swapping around of hounds and pups to do. We have a bit of repair work to do on a couple of sheds. With a bit of luck we will get the beds in the garden paddocks changed and get them levelled out. We will have to prepare for another busy week.
NO OPEN RACING IN THE UK TONIGHT.
