Saturday 21st April:
Another nice day just like yesterday and it make the job so much easier. Everything is going brilliant and no problems anywhere. Young pups are doing fantastic, the sickness is away, no problems with staff or vans.
The plans for today are: the endless job of getting rid of waste, collecting supplies, we will hunt a few pups, keep an eye on all the pups that were born lately and do the everyday jobs. The white van goes for maintenance work today at 1pm.

Its another lovely morning and another busy day. We have loads of supplies coming, bits of paperwork to do and we will try and hunt a few pups if the day goes well. My man flu and chest infection is a mile better but still not right. If I get another day or two over I'll be back to normal.

Thursday 19th April:
Were doing Thursdays journal on Friday morning. It was the hottest day of the year so far and summer must be on its way as the flock of swallows returned to nest for another year. In the soccer Newcastle need a point on Monday against Everton to be mathematically certain of staying in the Premiership after Southampton drew with Leicester but theres no chance of Newcastle being relegated whatever happens.
It was a busy day at the kennels as we needed all our waste away, we hunted and galloped and the endless job of collecting supplies continued.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT
AT HOVE: SWIFT DIXON AND SWIFT TARQUIN.
Wednesday 18th April:
I was at the doctors at 8am this morning with my man flu, chest infection and high temperature. At 2pm as were doing the website I have improved a million miles. Our new doctor in Monasterevin is so thorough its unbelievable. She blood tested me for everything and gave me a thorough examination. A big change from the old doctor who would examine you and write a prescription out for you from the pub. I had friends once from Sunderland visiting and I had to see the doctor at 4:15 in the Cross Keys pub to change a bandage for a bite on my leg. He did it in the lounge of the pub and they couldn't stop laughing.
At the kennels today we have fed, cleaned, let out and cooked as its been one of those days. We also got a new windscreen for the silver van put in.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER AT SHEFFIELD LAST NIGHT SWIFT MARVELETTE.
Tuesday 17th April:
Were doing Tuesdays journal on Wednesday afternoon. My man flu deteriorated and I put an appointment on for the doctor on Wednesday morning. Its Padgies last day before his holidays and he also has the flu which I hope doesn't ruin his holidays. At the kennels we did a massive swap around of pups and saplings, the endless job of collecting supplies continued and we have broods for testing and mating.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT.
AT SHEFFIELD: SWIFT MARVELETTE, CINCINNATI, CONEY SABER AND RIBBLE ATOM.
AT CRAYFORD: REAVEYS RAIDER.
MONDAY 16TH APRIL
Its a dry and bright morning with a chance of rain in the afternoon. As always we have supplies to collect such as veg ,food for pups, bark for our flower beds and straw . We are doing a major swap around of pups from yard to fields and field to our garden paddocks . If the weather stay dry we will hurt and gallop a few dogs .ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM TONIGHT HAGGSWOOD RIVER AND SWIFT LEILA
Sunday 15th April:
Its an overcast morning and it looks like were going to get rain. I got a flu injection last September but the whole of Monasterevin has man flu and I'm joining the list. I thought I wouldn't get it after the injection but I was wrong. Were doing a major tidy up and were on top of all the work. Just as well as Padgie is going on holiday. In the soccer the bottom 3 in the Premiership now look doomed. I will be watching Newcastle play Arsenal at 1:30pm whatever happens. 1 point would be a great result. 3 points would start to help us secure 10th spot in the premiership. It will be a typical Sunday at the kennels where we cook, clean, feed and let dogs out that are in kennels.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TODAY AT KINSLEY: OH ARMANI AND POINTLESS BROC.
